About Us
Our Story
STRONGCOLOGY™ was born out of resilience, passion, and our unwavering belief that strength training can transform lives. We're Chris and Alicia Brown, co-owners and partners in both life and business — and we first met in college at the University of New England.
Between us, we bring over 25 years of experience in our respective fields. Chris has spent his career as a personal trainer, and Alicia as a physical therapist, and together we've built our lives around helping people achieve their health and wellness goals.
But it was Chris's battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia that truly redefined our mission. Through his recovery, Chris experienced firsthand how strength training played a pivotal role in rebuilding his health, resilience, and overall well-being. That journey changed everything for us. Determined to help others harness that same power, we launched STRONGCOLOGY™ — a strength training program dedicated to all cancer warriors and survivors.
Our Philosophy
At STRONGCOLOGY™, we believe wellness is about more than just treating symptoms or isolated body parts - it’s about cultivating strength, mobility, stability, balance, and resilience through a whole-body approach. STRONGCOLOGY™ brings this philosophy to life with expert-designed fitness programming specifically for cancer patients.
Unlike standard fitness apps, ours offers tailored strength training plans that adapt to your unique needs and energy levels, giving you the power to adjust workouts based on your fatigue levels throughout treatment and survivorship. With accessible, easy-to-follow workouts and progress tracking, our programming empowers you to rebuild strength, improve mobility, and enhance stamina at your own pace. Whether you're in treatment, recovering, or thriving beyond cancer, STRONGCOLOGY™ is here to help you regain strength and confidence on your own terms, every step of the way.
